This blog was initiated as a final project for LIBR 262A-10, a graduate level class in Library and Information Science through San Jose State University, with Richie Partington as professor.
Each entry will showcase a children's book for 0-4 year olds which I might use as part of a story hour program, as a recommendation to a parent, caregiver, or early education teacher, or as a stand-alone read for babies, toddlers, or preschoolers.
Each book will be tagged with title, author, illustrator, age, and topical descriptors which will enable cross-indexing and a variety of possible groupings. Although many are appropriate for children older than four years, I have not included higher age estimates outside of my target group, ages 0-4.
